From the colorful parades to the elaborate costumes, Mardi Gras is a chance for people from all walks of life to come together and celebrate what makes them unique. So whether you're a seasoned reveler or a first-time partygoer, there's an event for everyone to enjoy in downtown!

Mardi Gras Parade in Downtown Huntsville
The Grand Parade is the place to be if you’re looking for a fun, free Mardi Gras celebration. The parade starts Saturday, Feb. 10 at 3:30 p.m. in Downtown Huntsville. Click here to see the parade route.

The 10th Annual Mardi Gras Parade is a fundraiser benefiting the Blount Hospitality House, which provides a caring “home away from home” for patients and/or their families who are in Huntsville seeking medical treatment.

Mardi Gras at Stella’s
If you need a place to grab a drink before the parade, Stella’s is opening at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10. They will be serving New Orleans-inspired cocktails all day. Stay after the parade for live music by Dusty Smith at 5 p.m.

Mardi Gras Party at Voodoo Lounge
Head over to Voodoo Lounge to enjoy a Mardi Gras Happy Hour with Big Al and the Heavyweights on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m. Then, Wild Life In The Working Class will be taking the stage for a 80’s themed Mardi Gras Party on Southside Square at 9:30 PM.

Ladies, grab your girlfriends to celebrate Galentine’s Day in Mardi Gras Style! Baker & Able is hosting this awesome event on Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 6-11 p.m. There will be beads and masks, drink specials, party favors, King Cake desserts, and photobooths. Come dressed to impress!
